Hello Friend, I’m Stephanie Lee, married to my best friend and biggest supporter my soul champion Rich. Together we have managed to raise a beautiful blended family. Our daughter Asia and son Cameron is the heart of why we believe in nurturing our family and finding the balance to thrive in our family, side businesses, and finances. Our fur baby a Bischon Frise we call “Q’ball” and our Quaker parrot “Pringles” add the extra spice to our family tree.
I’m a college graduate, sister to two, and daughter of great parents who taught me to manage money at an early age.
My Frugual Journey
Growing up my mom introduced me to frugal living. She taught me a lot about saving and managing money. However, she was a stickler for grocery lists. Let’s just say, I never suffered from the guilty pleasures of picking up anything that was not on my list. My dad, such a great negotiator taught me how to save money at car lots, thrift stores, and auctions. Great lessons, that I share constantly with my husband and kids.
When my husband and I first meet I had hit rock bottom from my previous relationship. I had lost everything; my home, investment properties, and my bank account was close to zero. Grasping for air, clinching onto my faith in Jesus Christ, and a lot of sleepless nights I slowly begin to start over.
From that moment on, with a new money mindset my new chapter was created. Rich and I started our financial journey together. We started to slowly rebuild our credit, increased our monthly savings, eliminated debt, and created spreadsheets to manage and budget our monthly expenses. Rebuilding is not easy. Worth it? Absolutely!
